Taste of the Valley – Wine Tour

More than a century ago, North Carolina produced more grapes than all other states combined. World War I and Prohibition saw the end to this bountiful crop of Concord grapes and other states surpassed North Carolina in grape and wine production. In recent years, the state began rebuilding its grape industry and now ranks 10th nationally in grape production and 12th for wine production. Many of North Carolina's 50 vineyards are located in Yadkin Valley and the surrounding counties.

This is your opportunity to see this beautiful countryside via a chartered luxury motor coach. You will visit two of the area’s finest vineyards where you can sample the wines, enjoy a fine meal and take in sweeping panoramic views of the fertile Yadkin Valley, the Piedmont foothills and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
